iLab Studio at WLA

About This Space

Easily record and create professional-quality video presentations, lectures, and instructional videos using the One Button Studio's recording setup.

All the technology you need to create high-quality videos is in the studio, located in Room 108 A, so you don't have to bring or set up your own tripods, lights, or video cameras.

Equipment

The One Button Studio includes the following equipment:

  • Canon VIXIA HF G70 camcorder (HD + 4K recording abilities)
  • Dual 27" displays
  • SGM-250P Professional Shotgun Microphone
  • ATEM Mini Extreme switcher with iPad controlled interface
  • One touch power controller
  • Wireless keyboard and mouse
  • Presentation clicker (ask for the clicker at the circulation desk when you check in for your reservation)
  • Height-adjustable table
  • Studio lighting - adjustable from 2800 - 6500K color temperature
  • Retroreflective chroma key backdrop system
  • HDMI connection for laptops

Getting Started

Reserve a Space

Reservations are required. iLab Studio at WLA spaces are reservable by current Pepperdine faculty, staff, and students for a maximum of 3 hours per day during operating hours.

You can make a reservation by using the library room booking system. Please note that the One Button Studio and Editing Station are located in Room 108 A and the Podcasting Studio is located in Room 108 B. 

When you arrive for your reservation, staff at the circulation desk will let you into your reserved space.

If you would like to access the studio spaces outside of the normal operating hours, you can submit a reservation request.
