iLab Studio at WLA

Welcome

Housed on the first floor in the library, the iLab Studio at WLA provides space for our Pepperdine community to explore new forms of expression and media creation. Whether you're a student composing a podcast episode, a professor recording a lecture series, or an instructional designer editing a video project for a course you're designing, we hope the studio spaces come alive with your creative energy.

Studio Hours

Pepperdine students, faculty, and staff can visit in-person or make a reservation during iLab Studio at WLA operating hours.

Resources at a Glance

One Button Studio

Located in Room 108 A of the West LA Graduate Campus Library, the One Button Studio provides an integrated video recording experience on a height-adjustable rig with studio lights, an iPad interface that allows you to change backgrounds easily, and a reflective backdrop that allows for an instant green screen effect. Editing Station

Located in Room 108 A of the West LA Graduate Campus Library, the Editing Station offers a dual-monitor work station powered by a highly capable PC and access to Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Take your project to the next level and learn more about what's available by navigating to the dedicated Editing Station page.

Podcasting Studio

Located in Room 108 B of the West LA Graduate Campus Library, the Podcasting studio provides access to audio recording equipment, including microphones, headphones, and an audio interface, in addition to a recording computer with access to Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Reserve a Space

Reservations are required. iLab Studio at WLA spaces are reservable by current Pepperdine faculty, staff, and students for a maximum of 3 hours per day during operating hours.

You can make a reservation by using the library room booking system. Please note that the One Button Studio and Editing Station are located in Room 108 A and the Podcasting Studio is located in Room 108 B. 

When you arrive for your reservation, staff at the circulation desk will let you into your reserved space.

If you would like to access the studio spaces outside of the normal operating hours, you can submit a reservation request.
