The U.S. Department of Education has produced a variety of free information on such timely topics as ensuring the safety of the nation’s schools, the prevention of bullying, and Public School Community Partnerships. This information, along with other noteworthy topics are available to you at no cost from the ED Pubs website.

ERIC (Education Resources Information Center)

ERIC - the Education Resources Information Center - is an online digital library of education research and information. ERIC is sponsored by the Institute of Educational Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education. ERIC provides ready access to education literature to support the use of educational research and information to improve practice in learning, teaching, educational decision-making, and research.

California State Board of Education, Standards & Frameworks

Standards and Frameworks can be described in three categories:  Content standards, Common Core State Standards and Curriculum Frameworks.

Content standards were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level.

Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in English-language arts and mathematics were adopted by the State Board of Education (SBE) on August 2, 2010.

Curriculum Frameworks
Frameworks are blueprints for implementing the content standards adopted by the California State Board of Education and are developed by the Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission.
