Best seller lists EBSCO databases

Example: I want information on Toni Morrison's Beloved and best seller lists.

  • Click the box for Select / deselect all
  • Continue
  • Type Morrison into the first box and change select a field to TX All Text with the pull down menu
  • Type beloved into the second box and change select a field to TX All Text with the pull down menu
  • Type best seller or bestseller into the third box (the word "or" is a search command
  • Click Search

New York Times best sellers

After registering an account from the above link you can search the archives of the Nytimes.com for best seller information.

Example: I want to know how Beloved by Toni Morrison was ranked on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

  • After logging in, type Toni Morrison beloved "best sellers" into the search box and click search

By searching the library catalog for your book (the large search box on the main library home page), you can see both how many editions of a book were published and how many copies are owned by libraries.

  • Search for the book (or film) and click the link for the title
  • Click the link for "Explore Editions and Formats"
