Choosing a journal from the Financial Times 50 list will most likely yield a journal that meets the 45% acceptance rate since these are the top 50 ranked business journals.
- Once you have selected a journal from that list such as Harvard Business Review, our next step is to confirm that journal's acceptance rate.
- Go to Library.Pepperdine.edu
- Click on Databases and E-Journals
- Click on the letter "C"
- Select Cabells Journalytics
- When prompted enter your WaveNet credentials.
- Once you have gained access to the database enter the name of your selected journal into the search bar "Havard Business Review"
- Select the record for that journal and you should see the image below.
- The acceptance rate and peer-reviewed status has been highlighted in the image below.
- Once you have confirmed that the journal you have selected has the needed acceptance rate you can click on the journal link from the FT 50 Journal List tab OR follow the steps below to access the journal.
- Go to Library.Pepperdine.edu
- Click on Databases & E-Journals.
- Select the E-Journals Tab.
- Type in the name of the journal in the search bar "Harvard Business Review
- Click on the name of the journal.
- Click on the name of the journal again.
- When prompted enter your WaveNet credentials
- Once you gain access to the article click on "Search within this publication
- Use the search bar to search for articles within this journal that meet your assignment requirements.
