SEC Capstone Resources: Education Research Grants and Scholarships

With funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the American Educational Research Association (AERA) is pleased to announce the continuation of the AERA Grants Program, which provides small grants and training for researchers who conduct studies of education policy and practice using quantitative methods and including the analysis of data from the large-scale data sets sponsored by National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and NSF.

Fellowships and grants for women

British organization that funds humanities graduate, postdoctoral, and international collaborative research efforts. Check to see the most current collaborative efforts with U.S. agencies.

Competitive grant funds available from the U.S. Department of Education to develop an array of strategies that will improve
students' reading and writing skills.

Provides grants to full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty to support fundamental chemical research at universities, colleges, or other educational institutions within the state of Texas. Each research grant may utilize its funds on fellowships and scholarships among other things,

Supports research in anthropology.

A portion of the Fulbright Program is a Congressional appropriation to the United States Department of Education for the Fulbright-Hays Program. These grants are awarded to individual U.S. K-14 pre-teachers, teachers and administrators, predoctoral students and post-doctoral faculty, as well as to U.S. institutions and organizations. Funding supports research and training efforts overseas, which focus on non-western foreign languages and area studies.

Provides scholarships at the Master's and Ph.D. levels for overseas training of staff from Vietnamese higher education institutes. Also awards scholarships to talented undergraduate students from Vietnam.

American Psychological Association award to assist science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs.

Provides fellowships to top graduate students in the fields of business, education, law, policy, and other disciplines to improve urban education.

Administers predoctoral, postdoctoral, and senior fellowship awards in scientific and technological (including health) research on behalf of government and private/foundation sponsors.

Graduate fellowships provided to new Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields

Awards for predissertation, dissertation, and postdoctoral fellowships with a focus on social research. Includes opportunities for summer institutes and research support.

Provides fellowships to talented citizens of Vietnam for graduate science and technology study in the United States.

Offers residential fellowships for academic, independent, and museum scholars and advanced graduate students to conduct research in many areas of social and cultural history.

Provides fellowships and policy and practice support to meet the changing educational needs of the United States.
