Historical Treasury Bond Rates

A great resource for historical and current bond rates is the U.S. Department of the Treasury's web site 

  • Select the type of treasury bond data. In most cases you will want to use the default of Daily Treasury Yield Curve Rates. You can select Daily Treasury Real Curve Rates if you need rates that are adjusted for inflation
  • After selecting the type of treasury yield curve data, select the year and click Go. Data is available back to 1990.
    • In general, select the date for the time that the bond was purchased
