Welcome to Pepperdine's Virtual Special Collections

The (physical) Special Collections Research Room at Pepperdine may be closed, but we are always open virtually! There are several ways you can conduct Special Collections research, even without access to our physical space.

Most importantly, contact us! We are available to answer your questions. Please see our "Personalized Services" tab for contact information for our staff.

For general information about Special Collections, please see our website.

About Special Collections

Like many educational institutions, Pepperdine acquires materials of historical and cultural significance - materials that tell the story of our shared heritage and that support teaching, learning, and research at Pepperdine. Unique and rare photographs, maps, letters, books, and audio and video recordings document a wide variety of topics, including the history of our own institution and region. In addition to capturing and promoting our heritage, these materials provide rich resources for students’ research.
