Movie Analysis and Reviews

Both movie reviews and longer articles analyzing movies can be found in this EBSCOhost database.  By utilizing the "Choose databases" feature located after "Searching: Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text", you can search both this database and Academic Search Complete at the same time.

Researching Controversial Issues

When you see something of interest, note the terminology that is used in the discussion.  Try to isolate key concept words or key phrases to use when searching the online catalog and electronic databases.

Scholarly Full-Text Sources

These online sources contain scholarly full-text journals. Project Muse contains current articles while JSTOR contains mostly materials over three years old. Use the Advanced Search and limit your search to Articles in order to avoid book reviews.
