What services will be provided during the renovation?

All services will be available as follows:

Where are Payson Library services moving to?

Beginning August 29, you can visit the Library Hub located on the first floor of Thornton Administrative Center (TAC). Services will also be available at the Drescher Campus Library.

Where can I find books and DVDs? 

A selection of high-use materials (approximately 10% of our collection) will be located on campus, including course reserves and reference materials which will be kept at the Library Hub in the TAC. 

The remainder of our collection will be temporarily housed off-campus in Calabasas during the renovation and will be available same day by request.

How long will the renovation take?

The project is scheduled to take place from May 2016 to Fall 2017.


Where can I borrow technology like laptops, chargers, and iPads?

Students will be able to check out all  technology from the circulation desks at the Library Hub at TAC and the Drescher Campus Library.

Where can I study?

Study rooms will be available at Drescher Campus Library and the Library Hub located in TAC.


Will the librarians still be hosting office hours?

Yes, in the Library Hub at TAC the librarians will be able to provide reference help as they did in Payson.


What is happening to SkyLounge?

The Digital Learning Lab, or SkyLounge, will be unavailable for the summer of 2016 as it is moved from Payson to the Hub at TAC. There it will continue its service as a space for information literacy instruction

and study.


Where can I access desktops with Adobe applications?

Students will have access to desktops equipped with Adobe applications in the Library Hub, as well as at the Drescher Campus Library.
