Course Description

Introduces students to interpretive reading, writing, and research skills necessary for the study of literature by focusing on some or all of the literary genres – the short story, poetry, drama, and the novel. Close reading skills and the development of a literary vocabulary are emphasized in order to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of literature.
